Manufactured by PPD (the world leader in snowmobile skis), the MAXKEEL provides a consistent, confident feel that will not push or slide on the trail, while floating on top of the deepest powder, allowing you to carve lines you never dreamed possible. The MAXKEEL’s skags and side runners are made of HARDOX wear plate.
YETI
SnowMX is equipped
with a bike mount
assembly that allows
the YETI’s chassis
to quickly adapt to
most MX bikes on the
market. Precision
machined bike
adapters are
included with
YETI
SnowMX. The
bike mount features
an eccentric
cam chain tensioning
system that can
adjust up to 3” of
chain slack and is
also equipped with
an automatic chain
tensioner which
takes up the chain
slack between
maintenance
adjustments.
The
SYNCRODRIVE
delivers the
maximum
horsepower from
your
bike into the
track and then
to the snow.
The
SYNCRODRIVE
requires less
horsepower than
a chain drive
from 0 to 1/3
throttle, less
horsepower from
1/3 to 2/3
throttle and
less horsepower
from 2/3 to
WFO. SYNCRODRIVE
is equipped with
a mitsuboshi
720mm belt, 29mm
wide belt, which
has a sheer
breaking
strength of
24,000n ( 5395
pounds of
force). The
SYNCRODRIVE
requires very
little
maintenance and
no
lubrication. Our
belt drive
system is
encased and
protected in a
sealed
poly-carbonate
deflector
housing
tested up to
-40C conditions.
Machined
from 6AL-4V, the
YETI SnowMX Titanium
Drive and Jackshaft
combination make the
ultimate statement
in the latest YETI
improvements. These
Titanium shafts are
2.4 pounds lighter
than the special
steel shafts that
are standard
equipment in
the YETI. This
decreases the
overall weight,
while
increasing the power
of your YETI SnowMX.
Machined
from 6AL-4V, the
YETI SnowMX Titanium
Drive and Jackshaft
combination make the
ultimate statement
in the latest YETI
improvements. These
Titanium shafts are
2.4 pounds lighter
than the special
steel shafts that
are standard
equipment in
the YETI. This
decreases the
overall weight,
while
increasing the power
of your YETI SnowMX.
Built
to exacting
tolerances, the
YETI SnowMX
carbon fibre
chassis is
manufactured
with a kevlar
layer, a special
geo grid layer,
upto 16 layers
of carbon, a
clear coat
finish, and
custom under
laid custom
graphic. As
strong
as steel but 7x
lighter. Takes
abuse, big hits,
drops
etc, nothing is
stronger, yet
flexible and
returns to
original shape
after flexing.
